You're trying to explain something that isn't true, people feel perfectly satisfied with low-fat foods when they are consuming sufficient calories. The primarily thing people don't get with low-fat diets is that they need to eat more food, more often on them. So you need to increase your portion sizes and/or increase the number of meals you have a day. Low-fat foods are much less dense than high-fat foods.

Sorry, but its completely accurate. Look up "essential fatty acids" and you'll see that there are two, the short chain omega-3 and the short chain omega-6. Those are the only fats you need to consume in your diet, your body can create the others. Your daily requirement for these is low as well, combined its equivalent to around a tablespoon of oil.

You can repeat this, but its still not true. Eating oils is just going to increase your risk for heart disease, olive oil is simply better than some of the others. The Mediterranean diet is associated with better health outcomes because its low in saturated in fat, high in carbohydrates and low in meat.

The Mediterranean diet is one of the better eating patterns found in Europe, but in comparison to people that eat low-fat (e.g., in Asia) it has higher rates of heart disease.
