Do vegans pay attention to what kind of stuff such as skincare/bath soap/cosmetics they put on there skin or is being a vegan mostly not eating animal products?

My sister-in-law is a Vegan and refuses to wear leather shoes and will only wear plastic ones.

I don't know anything about her physical health or her karma, but her feet stink and she has bunions.

There are plenty of vegan shoes that are not "plastic". Sounds more like she needs a fashion intervention! (and possibly a podiatrist ).

LOL...

Freddy!! Rescue intervention units are on their way! Pass along these sites to your poor sister-in-law until they arrive:

Bougeois Boheme
Moo Shoes
ShopWiki
My fav: The Natural Store. Very spendy on the heels, but handmade and gorgeous!

Ha! Hahaha, yeah. Sorry, funny! Yeah, I do wear vegan shoes and if they smell, I suppose I have been extra active!

I can find plenty of fashionable vegan shoes - nice sexy high heels! I do wonder though about those who are assembling them in foreign countries

These days we must Research so much, don't we? To make sure that we are "doing the right thing" in our mind and heart. But it can be a bit tiring at times... Aye!?

I would never kill and eat a fellow being, regardless of his species, but I think nothing of ripping off his skin to get a new pair of boots or a leather belt.

This dichotomy probably causes a hole in my Karma that I will eventually fall into.

But at least when I do, my pants won't fall down and my feet will be warm, dry, and comfortable.

Now THAT is what I call first-class hairsplitting.

Some vegans are in it only for health reasons and do not have a political problem wearing leather pants.
