If you have a point to make, make it.

They don't constitute it - which would mean that is all vegans eat - but it can be a part of it.

I'm not terribly concerned with what I put in my body. I eat a plant based diet. I avoid trans-fats, too much sugar and saturated fat. I eat some processed foods as long as they contain no meat or meat products.

Yup, some can be highly processed and I'm OK with that.

Back to the topic - anyone have a good recipe using Primal Strips that would help out the OP?

I would really like to try these! I am going backpacking next month and these would be perfect to take along.

I haven't seen them yet in any of the local stores, will have to search for them. The mesquite lime and Texas bbq sound especially good.

someone gave me one of these on a hike. I just tucked it into my day pack because I thought it was a meat strip. lol. Later when I got home I was about to toss it out but read about it and wow, it was really satisfying for that salt fix we need after such a hike. Next hike I go on I'll take definately include the primal strips and the coconut water. Very good combo when you're exposed to the elements for hours at a time.

Thanks for keeping this on topic.

I made this wonderful recipe with them. Took three Texas BBQ strips and diced them into extra small cubes, same with two medium tomatoes, vidallia onions, green bell pepper, sauteed added sesame oil. If this is too oily you can drain on a paper towel if it's too much. I like healthful oils because they're good for the skin in the dry climates.

Next get some large wonderful lettuce leaves and scoop a big spoonful of the mixture onto the leaf and add a little salsa. I am in heaven. One thing that seems to turn a lot of people off, but I like my carbs, I sprinkle broken ramen noodles to give it even more crunch.

That was last week. Tomorrow I will do a stir-fry and will report back here with the results. There's nothing at all wrong with sprinkling crunched up pecans or better, hemp seeds just as you would any garnish such as cheese. The only thing that would make the lettuce wraps better would be slices of avocado.

I think these sounds very good! I'm going to try them this week, and experiment myself.

The only thing about using them in a recipe for more than one of two people is that they are require lots of fine chopping - and lots of primal strips.

I agree about the avocado, and I love the hemp seeds. Man do I have the munchies now!

Also agree about the oil. It's needed for hair, skin and fat metabolism. I think the ramen noodles mixed in sounds awesome!!!

Please consider delivery to Ohio!
