I always have nuts in the house. Almonds, pecans, walnuts, pistachios and unsalted peanuts.

If you can find jicama at a reasonable price it is quite good peeled and about as thick as potato chips. Very good raw and used any way you would use potato chips.

Also good with a bit of lime juice squeezed on it

Up here it is a bit pricey, but was very cheap in Texas and New Mexico.

Yes, the root vegetable "chips" are delicious. I'd stock up on them, but they are a bit pricey. Way better than your typical potato chip.

It's mango papad, just like in India.

I love the chili spice mango. FYI if you are a "natural food only" sort of person, many of the brands available use lots of additives and preservatives, so read labels carefully (TJs is good, the ones at the mexican store seem to have dyes and lots of other unrecognizable stuff).

For a fruit snack, refrigerated bananas sort of remind me of the taste of vanilla ice cream, and I recall a Youtube video by Fully Raw Kristina (she's a raw vegan) was about making ice cream out of bananas. I never tried the recipe myself because plain cold bananas taste good enough to me.

Cereal and almond or soy milk is my snack. It's not very glamorous but I do use lots of fresh fruit on it.

Have you considered avocado? The protein and fat (good) will help with satiety.

I like a balance of carbs and protein for a snack....not just a piece of fruit but a piece of fruit or half a piece of fruit and 4 almonds or some pistachios. Greek yogurt (plain with Stevia and almond extract)..top with some raw pumpkin seeds is another favorite.

I like hummus(homemade is so easy) with cut fresh veggies.

Rice Dreams ice cream and soy based ice creams are usually very caloric and loaded with carbs (sugar and too much fat)...I avoid them. Those dried mango slices are also high in sugar...just not my idea of a snack.

I like the avocado idea.... For a snack I sometimes will eat 1/2 a small avocado filled with salsa.

I eat mostly a whole foods, often raw diet and eat lots of nuts, nut butters, avocados, beans, fresh fruits and veggies....avoiding processed foods whenever possible.
