Is there such a thing? I love Tang pie, ambrosia salad and would like to make Millionaire Pie as well -- but although I can easily replace the sour cream and sweetened condensed milk with vegan versions, I do not know how to make nondairy Cool Whip. Any dairy gives me a week's worth of migraines, and for me to succeed I need a recipe for this that is stupid easy. Can anyone help?

You could try whipping Aqua Faba, there are some recipes on line, and Zu Dever (sp) wrote a book using it in a lot of recipes, desserts included.

Tang Pie uses an 8-oz tub of Cool Whip, an 8-oz tub of sour cream and a half cup of Tang powder. You make the pie filling with half the Cool Whip, all the sour cream & Tang and deploy the remaining Cool Whip on the top after putting the filling in a prebaked pie shell. Totally terrible for you but takes you straight back to the 1960s.
