I was at a one of those discount stores last week (food for less ) and the Morning Star products were still marked down. It looked like the frozen dinners section had quite a few selections marked down. It could be an extended period of seasonally reduced prices or related to the Soy markets. I used to buy Worthington products because they're canned and seem to keep longer. They are not Worthington anymore and I wonder if the name Morning Star is being fazed out.

I used to buy Morningstar years ago but now there are so many better alternatives.

I either make my own veggie burgers (easy, lots of good recipes, healthier) or buy Beyond burgers or Gardein. Yes

I have no trouble finding them. They are ubiquitous. I like some of their products, but there are other choices. I have heard that they've come out with more vegan products. Has anyone tried them?

I have not. For Morningstar, I've only used the Griller and black bean burgers.

I bet they are good. My niece made some good burgers with red kidney beans and spinach once.

I have lost interest in cooking after years of living alone, so I can't be bothered going to all that effort just to eat something. Food prep and cleanup is such a time waste, and I don't enjoy it anymore.

There's a vegan restaurant about ten minutes away. They do a good vegan burger. Pricey, but worth it once in a while.

They also do this thing called the Indian Plate, tofu with a mango chutney. Hmm. That might be dinner.

Good Karma Vegan Cafe

Oh no. I looked. Now I can't decide between that and the Sweet Chili Tofu!

My store stocks them regularly, not letting them go.

If you can't find the Moringstar Farm corn dogs, Field Roast makes some and they are delicious!

I was so excited to try them and bought some when they finally went on sale (they are usually about $8 a bag here, not cheap) and I was disappointed. They were okay, but they didn't have that classic corn dog breading. It was more crumbly and just not quite right, IMO. Like they were trying to make them more "fancy" or something.

I have never in my life eaten a corn dog, not even when I ate meat, so I'm not going to worry about what the vegetarian ones taste like! It sounds disgusting, lol.
