Well let's see... I haven't been sick for at least about 20 years, except for a cold thing after flying on planes. I never get indigestion. The doc says my bad cholesterol is "about nil" and my good cholesterol is "abundant." They always ask if I'm on blood pressure medication, because mine checks out unexpectedly good. People always are surprised when I tell them my age, they say I look much younger. Now, of course I can't directly tie this to my diet, but I'm guessing it's so.

I'm not part of the horrible cycle of misery, horror and pain that is today's factory farming hell. How could one get their nutrition from that? I can't change the world and don't try to, but I'm doing my part to live lightly on the land, direct foods, etc. Think globally - act locally

1. Always get my "5 per Day"
2. No need to worry about fiber
3. Fairly easy to control my weight ( would have nooooo worries if I gave up dairy....*sigh*)
4. Love creative process of making tasty/healthful/beautiful meals
5. Support the local farmers' markets

Lots of energy
No GI problems - ever
Easy to stay fit and thin
I don't get sick when all around me do
Cholesterol numbers that make my doc's eyes open wide
Never feeling bloated or heavy after eating
I look 10 years younger than my age (no one ever guesses it right)
Feels great not to be eating the corpses of dead animals - no one had to die for my dinner
Reduced impact on the environment
Knowing I'll never need to rely on Viagra
Feeling "clean" all the time
Always discovering great new meal options - the variety is incredible
A generally healthy, happy feeling every day!

I just feel so much better not eating other living feeling beings. That is my major reason.

But I love the food! Love all the textures of veggies, grains, fruit etc.
Never have to worry about my fiber intake.
Rarely get sick and usually if I do, it is only a cold - maybe once a year.
Low cholesterol, perfect blood pressure.
Like others have said, I do look younger, most people don't believe me when I tell them that I am 45.
I am happy that my eating choices leave a smaller footprint on the earth than the average diet.
No white flour and overly processed foods for me.

Best choice I made for my health and the health of the planet.

For the Animals!!!
They all deserve to live!
That is my 1ST reason and always will be!

But Yeah, what most everyone else said here, I too very rarely get sick, feel good if not great all the time, don't feel guilty (except for when I still eat some dairy ), I love my morals! (except I try to be vegan will be there soon, mostly am already).

I love all animals!
