I took a few pics at a bakery here in Portland (OR) that makes vegan baked goods. I've had the cake, and it's delicious. Hope someday my cooking'll turn out looking this good!

PS: The bakery is called Piece of Cake in Sellwood area! There're others that are strictly vegan. Oh, and these folks make the most gorgeous wedding cakes to die for!

Default Those look good...

...and are making me hungry. Is that top cake some variation of a spice or carrot cake? Just curious how their prices compare to similar non-vegan cakes at other bakeries...

We just made these this morning and they were great!

Vegan Banana Pancakes Recipe : Recipezaar

Just be warned, they are quite sweet so you may want to cut down on the brown sugar. Also, if you are using vanilla flavored soymilk, you can skip adding the vanilla extract.
