Why do you need to "tell her". I would like you to tell me why people get so stressed out and upset when people eat vegan or non meat...or even eat healthy. I have issues with a few people at work who get all upset with those of us who don't care to put certain foods in our body. Why is that please tell me

Just because I am curious......Do vegans breast feed their babies? It seems to me that since it's produced the same way, it would be the same as giving them cow's milk. And if they do, when do they stop?

You might ask her the next time her attitude bothers you. And I agree, she may not understand all the rules and regulations concerning a Vegan life style.

From what I understand vegans do breast feed babies if they so choose. That being said, I'm a vegetarian (non-vegan) by habit rather than ideology, and have never been an animal rights person, so I'm therefore less concerned about such details.

Human breast milk is designed by nature to be the perfect food for human babies. Cow's milk is designed by nature to be the perfect food for calves. It's not the same thing at all .....

Thanks! I had wondered what the reasoning was.

hey, you do the head smack thing, but I know a vegan that insists she will only give her future babies soy milk formulas. IIRC, they do exist (vegan baby formula)

I'm not saying that vegans always/exclusively/never breast feed their babies. I'm only pointing out something that should be obvious: cow milk is not equivalent to human breast milk.
