Just another reason to live in Ventura County. Well maybe a little too hot inland but here on the coast I love the weather right now. Sure we have june gloom and this year it extended till August it seems. Still I love the weather right now. LOL

This weather is lovely! Just want it to hold out a bit longer so I can enjoy the swimming pool at our new home on Friday, LOL!

Cyanna, you sure have that right. I just called my grandkids in Camarillo and they, along with 8 friends, are in their pool. I just wish I could be there and enjoy watching them.

Enjoy the weather.

My kids were at the pool today. Had to bring them in this evening. May be "summer time" but they have school in the morning.

i can remember years ago, probably1964, when there was a horrible Sept heat wave. They even closed schools for a day or so.

How well I recall all the Septembers when the heat would hit Ventura...sometimes it was the East Wind, sometimes just plain hot...and that was usually when school was starting up again and we all wanted to wear our new sweaters. Spent many summers in Ventura with foggy/chilly weather, only to have it get warm when we had to head back to school.

Also remember many Thanksgivings when the East Wind would hit and no one wanted to bother cooking, or eating a hot meal.

I'm hearing forcasts for rain in areas of LA tomorrow. What about in Simi? Figures, moving home to Simi tomorrow, looking forward to swimming, and rain might be on the way, LOL!

Lucky y'all. Over here fall is settling in and there is a chill in the air. We had tons of rain yesterday that screwed up The opening day of the Ryder cup.
