Bring a jacket. It's chilly. Quite cold after the sun goes down.

The visit to Ventura was nice, and I have enjoyed showing my husband's family life in California, but we are both looking forward to Wednesday night, when we can run around naked or in our undies again, LOL! I did tell him that the next family visit will be limited to two weeks, and he heartily agrees

Family visits never stopped me from doing that! Then again, when you grew up in a big extended family, it's not as if they never....

My husband's sister has a fit if he just walks around without a shirt on! LOL! Seriously, its nice to visit with family for short periods of time, but when one of them has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder 30 days seems to turn into an eternity, LOL!

I have to agree with you, we usually dress a little more when there are house guests.

We were discussing today house guests and how long some stay. Travelin across the pond it makes sense they would want to stay as long as possible, but even our daughter was exhaused after so much company. She and hubby have 2 homes, one here and one in Dallas. The week prior to Christmas our granddaughter had a health issue and everyone wanted to be with her. She lives 2 plus hours from our daughter. She, hubby, 3 year old daugher, stayed at daughters for a proceedure. Our granddaughters mother in law and sister in law was there as well and so was our other granddaughter. All were there for about 5 days. Then this past holiday week our daughter and hubby were here in their AR home. Our other daughter, her husband, her daughter, son in law and granddaughter were there for 5 days. Guess what, older daughter is exhaunsted.

I can fully understand why she is exhausted. I am absolutely NUMB!
I suppose that my recent health issue hasn't helped things, since I needed to drastically change my diet, finally completely quit smoking, etc.. Not easy when everyone else is filling my fridge and cupbords with "taboo" foods AND continuing to smoke inside when they have been told to only smoke OUTSIDE, which has been the rule in our home. Now I need to drastically get rid of the smoke residue inside.
