The only Wendy's anywhere close to the college is on Telephone near Victoria.

You might have turned down Victoria...

I dont have time to check the accuracey of EVERY CRAIGSLIST ad.

Since you have been coming to my thread defending Ventura the least I thought anyone could do would be actually assist me with locations, surely someone from there could click on a link I provided and tell me if it looks legit or not. Because after a week of clicking on ads and reading reviews it gets a little tiring to check google street view for every single property that might be of interest.

If you are not trying to be offensive, I apologize.

so basically you are in support of shoplifting, arrogant thug like kids who like to threaten other kids and adults who have no fear of authority, and underage drinking (most likely while driving).

Great, I think we understand now where the disparity is between what you see and what many of us see...

I never said I supported shoplifting. My point is that teenagers do stupid things. And they do them everywhere, at any time and have done so for time immemorial.

If you want to attribute these behaviors solely to Ventura and Oxnard, you are revealing the disparity between what you see and what many of us see... about you.

Rgb you sound like a sweet person . I hope you find a place you love. One last little story I had to share and then I promise I won't do it again. Just now went with my 16 year old to trader joes (which I think we did establish is not in a good neighborhood) but on the way there we were waiting a a light at a major intersection right up the street near where the govt center is and my son and I were watching an overweight middle aged man walk up to a guy getting gas at the gas station, look around, pull out a wad of cash, and the guy getting gas reached in his pants and pulled out a tiny item and handed it to him. I said nothing and my son started laughing and we both were at that point. He's used to seeing that at school, Surfers Point and neighbors of all ages.

Google street view is not streamed live, the chances of it picking up something bad are relatively low even in areas where such things exist.

But its not hard to find thugs and odd things in Ventura....I see it every time I go there. Now, whether these people pose you any real harm is another question and I really wouldn't know the answer to it. Not really interested in finding out either, I'd just stay in my sterile community where I don't have to worry much about it.

Ha...I think all Wendy's are pretty much shady. I don't know, something weird about those places. I was hungry a couple of weeks ago and just wanted to get something quick so I went to a Wendy's around here for one of their $1 burgers. Anyhow, there was something seriously odd about the workers and when I opened my packing I found a nice 2~3 foot long hair in the burger. Needless to say, I went hungry that day and won't be back.

Describe these individuals to us that make you so uneasy. Show us all what they look like, especially since you see them so often, a picture would be quite helpful for the rest of us.

Mostly its just homeless and various prole types, but I haven't been there recently enough to give a detailed description. If I remember, the next time I'm there I'll take some pictures, it will be rather amusing!

I just hope I don't get a ticket from one of the many photo-intersection ticket things you guys got up there to extract money out of tourists. Visit Ventura, leave with a ticket...
