Default Places to rent in Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, Thousand Oaks area

Hello,

My wife and I are considering moving to the area of Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, or Thousand Oaks. We'd like to find a place to rent in this area in a decent neighborhood, for around $1400 (ideally for a 2 bedroom unit, but 1 is considerable). I need a private garage (not the underground type, but shared with another unit is considerable).

Any help, recommendation, suggestion is appreciated!

I don't think you're going to find anything with a private garage in your price range, private garages are rare in apartments so you'd be looking at a condo rental. You're likely to find cheaper stuff in Thousand Oaks though.

From what I found looking in those areas the rent for a 1 bedroom is around 1500-1600. It also seemed to change even in a week at the complex. They said it depends on occupancy and date of move in. Camarillo seemed a little cheaper too. Thousand Oaks area the ones less then stated did not seem desirable but maybe I did not go to the right places cause I was new to the area. None I saw with garages but some had storage closets. Actually there was in Newbury Park but it was in an industrial area which I did not like that did have garages and they had a sister property too which I can't recall location. Good luck
