My wife and I are thinking about moving to North East Oxnard area. Can anyone tell me how long the commute would be to Chatsworth? I would probably be leaving about 6:00 in the morning and coming back to oxnard around 4:00. It would be about 40 miles one way.

Or I can leave at others times it is flexible.

Is that too crazy? It would be a company car and company gas.

That is quite a trek, it will probably take about 1 hour each way with no traffic. You might be able to take the back way, via 126 and the 118 that might be faster. Good thing gas is not an issue!

I used to live in northridge, next town over from chatsworth.I would drive to sterling hills next to oxnard every fri morning for a tee time either at 730 or 8am. Depending on how fast and the traffic,I can be there in 45 mins mostly 75-80 mph.. Its a haul and the traffic can be a biatch. Hwy 126 has the construction to widen it and can get jammed at times
