The OP posted to CDF a total of three times, all within a span of ~45 days, and all on this thread - nearly three years ago.

Will they come back and follow up? Doubtful.

I grew up in Newbury Park which is not far from Camarillo. Camarillo is a nice area, very green and pretty. All of Ventura County has very mild weather for the most part. You'll experience some chilly winters because you are not far from the ocean, but nothing bad in comparison areas with snow. Light coats should keep you plenty warm. The summers can be warm, but again nothing too bad at all. I doubt you'll ever experience anything hotter than 95. As for the pre-schools I can't help you there, but you should have no problem making friends as I know lots of women in that area are stay at home moms.

The coastal areas tend to be less extreme than the valleys in both winter and summer because of the ocean.
