Anyone ever drive Route 132 between Norwich and Sharon? I'm wondering about how long it takes and if it passable in the winter.

Rt 132 is the back way to go and is fine in the winter and is a pretty drive but heading down I91 to I89 to the Sharon exit is probably faster as Sharon and Norwich are right at the exits and might be better in the winter. 30/45 min

Yes, driven it and it's very pretty. Yes, it's passable, but it's somewhat narrow and windy. Like most secondary roads in VT, you have to tack on a bit of time in the winter to travel. Ok, any roads in VT in the winter, but MORE time for roads like 132.

Thanks to you both. I am looking at a house near 132 in Norwich and need to drive to Sharon. It is an extra 10 minutes down route 5 to get on 91 so I was thinking maybe it would be faster to just hop on 132 which is 8 miles shorter than going down the highway and up 89.

Sounds like I can go either way, but it will take me the same time in good weather and more time on 132 in bad weather.
