Default Burlington Neighborhoods

Any opinions about neighborhoods in Burlington? Kid-friendly would be nice.
How is the area around Bernard J Letty Park? How about Thayer Beach (is that Burlington?). Thanks.

Leddy Park is in an area known as The New North End. It's a suburb of Burlington.

Thayer beach is in Mallett's Bay, which is a suburb of Colchester. Which is a town near Burlington.

Yes - I have opinions about them ;-) I've lived in or near Burlington since 1961...

I'd be happy to help, - what would you like to know...

Please forgive any delay - I'm away for a bit, but will be checking email and dropping in here a time or two from away...

Can anyone tell me who Mr. or Ms. Thayer was? I went to Thayer Elementary School on North Avenue, which is now some kind of office building. I think the official name was S. W. Thayer.

Wow! Thayer Elementary School. I went there throughout the 80s and have been wondering for so many years whatever became of my fellow classmates. Would love to hear from anyone who attended this school. I moved to Canada in '91. Jamie C.
