Talking Vermont Christmas Tree goes to the White House
How exciting for the town Bennington, for being chosen to provide the Christmas Tree for the White House this year!!! I just recieved in the mail my Bennington Area Guide for 2007. I love getting my reading materials from Vermont. I wish I was living there for all the excitement. They are decorating the downtown in July for Christmas, and having a tree cutting ceremony!! How fun.

I hope they're not cutting the tree in July! But yes, it's a real honor to provide such a beautiful gift to the nation. Congratulations to those involved and thanks for the news , Suzet. Perhaps next year you will be living here?

Here is the link if anyone is interested....US Capitol Christmas Tree 2007 - VERMONT - Bringing an Old Fashioned Holiday to the Nation I sure hope square peg my family and I are out there by then! I cant wait.
