I should have bought that... it's his original IPA but i still have a hard time getting over 8-9 bucks for a 22oz bottle.
You're paying for quality. You should see the prices of bottles at Hill Farmstead, but they're worth every penny.

We make our bi monthly run to Hill as well, and yes they are worth it.

Have some Anna, Vera Mae and Everett in the fridge......

I try to visit Hill whenever I'm in VT (usually I'm up around 89). I was disappointed that I couldn't get there the last time I visited. We were down in Rutland with our dog. No way to make the 2 hour trek up.

I need to get up there soon. I want some of the beers he currently has available.

I had some last year. It's probably the best porter I have ever had. It's amazing.

Had some Nelson this weekend, very good American Pale Ale, bittered and dry hopped......nice. So good.

I look forward to the "offseason" for travelers in VT (in between summer/peppers and skiers) as the last run to Hill resulted in a 2hour wait for beer.

Was that during the week, or on Saturday?

I can't imagine a lot of people would go during the week. When I was there on a Thursday, it was empty.
