there's always the $4 Rock Art bombers. at some point here i think i just need to get a Sanke setup and buy 1/6 kegs i wonder how much Lawson's wold charge for a sixtel..

i got ahold of a double sunshine too. it was for my friend who said he's taking a break from beer... I guess I'm drinking it myself now! Ha ha

just had fiddlehead's new beer . I like it a lot. It seems a little similar to heady topper. It was also "only" 4.50 for a pint as opposed to Lawson's $7 a pint.

Is Otter Creek still brewed in Vermont?? I haven't had it in a while, but I love their Copper Ale, and the Stovepipe Porter is pretty good too.

Yes it is, though they're now owned by Long Trail (also from VT).

has there ever been a brewery or brew pub in/around Rutland? Seems a city that size would have or have had one. I did a quick search, but nothing came up

closest to Rutland is Long Trail in Bridgewater. With so many empty locations in and around Rutland , we often wish someone would fill that void. It's a shame we have to travel to enjoy Craft beers at the source.

isn't there a brew pub right there in town on the corner across from the square? not sure what that is called.

Sorry Joe,

Lot's of bars, but no real brewpubs. Been here 53 years and I'm still waiting

If you go to the Vermont Brewers Association website, all the Vermont brewers are listed. Rutland certainly could use one.
