Yeah, that's a bummer...takes a while to get that beer going, not to mention who knows how much repairs the building needs...this whole thing is just mind-blowing! Can't believe how much damage the state has sustained.

It sounds like they're not completely abandoning all hope though, which is awesome.

I wonder if some of the other VT breweries will do a special beer with proceeds going to help them out.

I actually just went to Hill Farmstead's website to see if they had mentioned anything, lol. Nothing that I saw, though I'm not on FB so maybe they may have something there...

Just got a bit of an inside scoop...The Blind Tiger is a bar down here in NYC that specializes in all kinds of craft brews from across country. Some of you may recall when they did a Vermont night a few months ago with beers from Hill Farmstead, Traps, Alchemist and Lawson's...I just received my weekly news email from them and replied back asking if they would perhaps do a fund raiser for Alchemist. I got an almost immediate response that Dave was coming down here next week to meet with them and they will probably be discussing that.

As if they weren't going to sell out BEFORE the flood...most certainly were going to sell out now! Where is the cannery located exactly? Easy to get to?

BTW, tentative date for the fundraiser here in NYC is November 6...
