Can anyone recommend a cheap hotel within 30 mins of Sugarbush? Looking to spend under 80 dollars for the night.

Thanks

84 bucks a night here: - no idea about the place but it is very close to everything

Sugarbush and Mad River Vermont Lodging - Garrison Lodge Motel and Condos

might just be a advertising gimmick... says "as low as 43 PP per night" then ends up being $200 a night... but you can try yourself.

Last I heard, the Garrison was pretty trashy. You might have to go as far as Montpelier/Barre or Burlington to find "cheap" lodging.

Actually, why don't you stay at the Hostel Tevere HOSTEL TEVERE // HOSTEL + RESTAURANT + BAR

it will be cheaper, i am sure it is plenty nice albeit with shares rooms. Nice breakfast place and a bar on site. cheaper, and just at the bottom of the access road.

Yeah, I took $80/night to mean doesn't care about how nice it is, just needs a bed.

There's gotta be something. The places I stay near Cannon and Sunapee are only $75/night (plus tax) and are decent (not posh) motels that are comfortable with nice owners. I'm not looking for more than that when I ski usually. Those are also smaller mountains than Sugarbush and less popular than Sugarbush.

You didn't mention how many people or if it's a weekend or midweek but try the Golden Lion. 5 min from the base area at the bottom of the Sugarbush Access Rd, has a hot tub and an awesome full breakfast is included. Owned and operated by a very nice couple. I agree with the other comments about the Garrison.
