Default Humidity/Allergies

My husband has allergies (not sure what exactly the culprit is), we know it's weather related. The humidity really bothers him and I was wondering about the humidty in New Hampshire and how it affects those of you with allergies. Are there places to stay away from in NH? Is there any one place better than the other? Please let me know.

Well...it can get humid in the summer. Winters are usually dry. Lots of folks here suffer from springtime allergies (grass, ragweed etc.).
I don't think it matters where you go in Vermont...hope this helps!

For the most part allergies can be tough throughout all of New England, with the exceptions of Cape Cod ,Nantucket, The Vineyard, Newport RI ....because of the 'cleansing' of the ocean. I suffer from just about every allergy, inside and out. For me the worst times are from March till the first killing frosts in October. And since it can become humid here, mold spores can really be nasty as well.

That's too bad. I guess the best way to find out how bad it will affect him is to go and see. Doesn't sound good though. Thanks for the information.

Look into Bethlehem, NH. Even though it is a mountain community, it has a remarkably low pollen amount of pollen in the air. In years past, before the widespread use of allergy drugs, people went to Bethlehem from all over the country for allergy relief.
