Default NEK Internet Coverage

DH and I are hoping to move to NEK (home for me, grew up in Lower Waterford) in a year or so. We currently live in Idaho where housing costs are going through the roof and you can't buy land with water. We are planning on being "retired" although I do a fair amount of internet sales of hand crafted goods. We want to farm full time and make casual income through the internet sales.

Does the Northeast Kingdom have reasonable internet coverage? Are there towns that are better covered than others?

I know that StJ has Charter Communications for cable access. I'm not quite sure about the rest of the state.
I grew up in StJ and am an Academy grad. Maybe we know eachother?!

Glad to hear about StJ but I left to go back to NH when I was 8 *lol* doubtful that I would remember you unless you were in Waterford Elementary around 1973. We're looking at a property in Lyndon but it's wishful thinking at this point, we need to see how the winter goes, destash half our lives and then see if we can get a great price for our house. Since here in IF we know there's some pretty big rumblings about a huge gov't contract coming through soon, I'm crossing my fingers for a move within 2 years.

I've been looking at Great Auk Communications, looks like if you could put together 30 folks, they'll put in a tower for wireless. That would work.
