Something coming in from from the north.

weather.com - Map Room - Satellite Map, Weather Map, Doppler Radar - US: Doppler Radar

Has a bow to it, my sunflowers could use a little rain, just don;t want them knocked over or hailed on.

Maybe it will break up as it cools down

I'm hearing thunder off to the west right now and it's headed this way. The wind is picking up. My hound dog made her way down to the bomb shelter about 15 minutes ago. It's beginning to rain. Now I'm seeing the lightning. This one is coming in fast.

(5 minutes pass)

Not much of a storm at all. Still a few distant rumbles and the street looks wet. On a scale of 1 to 10, that one gets a 1.

Here in Rutland, the thunder awoke my husband and me. It didn't sound that close, but was loud enough that we heard it over the air conditioner and air filter fan. We didn't look at the clock. I was up for a while, then went back to sleep.

It's dark out today. More storms, maybe?

Bring on the storms.

I don't think there will be anything significant until later in the week though (thursday or friday), if at all.
