Any thoughts on what the "nicest" placest are. I think the most expensive is Pitcher Inn. Out of my price range for putting my parents up for a couple of days. Claybrook or Round Barn maybe (i know very different from one another... but I think they could appreciate either). Availability at Claybrook seems to be tough. Am I missing any to be considered.

A friend of mine stayed at the Yellow Farmhouse Inn last fall. I got to visit and she showed me her room - was really nice.
Romantic Vermont Inn ? Yellow Farmhouse Inn
I've also been to the Round Barn - I've never seen a room but the grounds are gorgeous and the common areas are really nice.
