Does rental property even exist?
I have to start by saying that my husband and I love reading all about VT. Yes, the good and the bad It really doesn't matter where you come from IMO, there is good and bad where ever you look! I am just curious to know, how hard is it to find rental property in VT? We are looking around the Springfield area. I have been checking out the maps on google and am really impressed with the overall area thus far. We will be visiting very soon, can't wait. I am sure after we move that buying a house will not be top on our list of priorities due to the fact we can't stand where we live now and wish that we had rented for awhile before signing on the dotted line We don't doubt moving to VT, just want to leave some options for a bit. We will need atleast 3 or 4 bedrooms. We also have a black lab, just one of the kids Of course, we are thinking a move in the Spring but will need to sell our home in PA. Our town is FLOODED with houses for sale There are just no jobs A nice place to visit If this type of rental is available what would it run a month? $800 - $1200?
Thanks for any info!

You might want to check out living in Chester. It is much nicer than Springfield and very close.

You might give a call to one or two of the property owners in the area--thus far, I haven't been but one rental in/near Springfield, but not all rentals are listed.
As far as rental costs, in the Brattleboro general area, 2 bedrooms range from $950-1500 (and the lower cost is more rare; the norm seems to be around $1000.00).
Springfield may be a tad less expensive.

I've found a lot of real estate won't post their rentals online (guess they are trying to hook you in to buy). You can try to call them or stop by and see what they have going.

There are lots of places to rent in Vermont. In Guilford (south of Brattleboro, about 1 hour from Springfield) there are many rental houses and a whole bunch of new tenements being built. So yes, even in Vermont, we have rental properties.

If you have a contact # for all those rentals in Guilford, I'd sure appreciate a PM. I sure haven't found this and I am sitting in Brattleboro, on the way to Guilford (where I am sojourning).
