Last few weeks have been great, as far as I'm concerned...warm enough, cool nights...once the rain stopped and the heat/humidity went away lol...

Last year (and the year before that) was warmer, with temps frequently in the 80's/90's. June was horrific for most of the east, with rain almost everyday, and temps staying in the 50's and 60's. Compare daily temperature, and rainfall and that is the most accurate indicator.

I think farmers would know best, and many have told me this year has been difficult because of the constant rain, and cooler temps. They can't harvest because of muddy fields, and seeds that were planted earlier in the summer were just washed away. I think the higher humidity was caused by more moisture in the air and the soil.

Another warm yet windy (gusts off & on) day, not bad at all-part sun, partly cloudy.

BTV Stats

Record Lows:
August 5: 43° 1972
August 6: 44° 1964

I dont think they'll break but could get close.

The last time BTV broke a record low in August was August 23, 1988 at 43°

Indeed it was, Summerz! I'm (trying) to paint my 101 year old barn. It's not huge, but I only have so much time to devote in between my regular job and other domestic chores. I had planned on getting much done on side 4 this weekend. I had such great plans for today, scraping off the old paint, but every time I'd get up to the roof line and into a groove it would start to rain. Figuring these were just sprinkles, I just kept going - and I was wrong on five different occasions. It poured! I got to see a few nice rainbows though... A few more notes: I noticed some bright red leaves today and the missus asked me to turn on the heat tonight.
