Grab a sweatshirt and your cameras. Big solar flare this afternoon causing some Auroras around.

"Here we go, Mt. Washington reporting Northern Lights there. Also a few reports from Vermont's Northeast Kingdom."

I just saw this post and went out to have a look. We have a good darkened view of the night sky. Clear as a bell tonight... and nothing happening. Shucks - I seem to have missed it.

It was 72 and sunny Friday, just beautiful & felt warm. Saturday was overcast & a bit cooler.
Today looks to be bright & sunny, supposed to reach the mid-60s. Nights have been around 40-45.

Too warm for me but I agree, dry and windy makes 60s not bad this time of year.

Some of us are in between the cold front & Clouds from the shore. NWS Gray says those on shore clouds are 2000' thick and should push westward.
