From NWS Burlington, VT on this weekends possiblity.

HAVE GONE WITH A MAINLY DRY FORECAST FOR THE WEEKEND...WITH JUST A
LOW CHANCE FOR RAIN/SNOW SHOWERS...MAINLY OVER SAINT LAWRENCE VALLEY
AND WESTERN ADIRONDACKS AS LOW LEVEL SOUTHWEST FLOW GRADUALLY
DEVELOPING AS HIGH CENTER SHIFTS EAST OF THE AREA.

WILL NEED TO WATCH SHORTWAVE TRACKING SOUTH OF THE AREA SATURDAY/SATURDAY
NIGHT. THIS WILL GENERATE SURFACE LOW OFFSHORE. GFS KEEPS IT AND
ITS ASSOCIATED PCPN WELL SOUTHEAST OF THE AREA...WHILE ECMWF
CONTINUES TO INDICATE THAT WE MAY BE IMPACTED BY THIS DISTURBANCE.
WITH THE EURO CONTINUING TO BE THE OUTLIER...HAVE GONE CLOSE TO
GFS SOLUTION.

Nice! Yeah...I think Tomorrows storm stays just south of VT but could bring snow to southern part at night...

Default Future Radar Images

This is from the NAM model. I really like this model and it confirms what I think will happen next 60 hours. Watch those blues(snow) fill in.

This is from 9am today to 8pm Friday. Southern VT in the action a little.

You can find the recent one with this link. It will update with each model run (4x a day)

More like October, 2002, shortly before moving back to Vermont. I was at Crotched Mountain in 2002.

Had early snow flakes in 2002, definitely snowing in high spots.

2002 also then had an early accumulation of 3 inches (or close to that, if not 5 inches) in November, 2002.
IIRC, it was after it was at least close to 75 F! (Yep, it got at least close to 75 F one day in November, 2002)

It's cold enough, but no, nothing here at the Canadian border. Just most cloudy here.

Cool thanks... Not sure if any of you are on facebook but NWS Burlington posted some info and images just now.

This link goes to their page directly.. http://www.facebook.com/#!/US.Nation...Burlington.gov

They wrote: "First images of snow this morning across central and southern VT as well as the southern Adirondacks. This image is from a web cam near Chelsea, VT. Mainly light amounts of snow today with up to an inch or two in the higher elevations of the southern Green Mts."
