The resorts are optimistic and have extended the ski season to mid-April.

Snowfall reports past 12hrs. Largest total I see is 15.5" in Paris Maine. Large 6-12" swath from central NH to ME. I see some 6-8" reports in VT there.

This morning we saw maybe 3" around Fayston - more on the mountain according to mad river glen. I see they are talking about another 6+" on Saturday night! we are enjoying quite a stretch of good snow conditions lately!

Nice! I'm tracking a potential big NorEaster which "might" dump some snow along the coast. We had 50s here today yet still have snow piles. Can't believe all the 40s, 50s, 60s and rain yesterday there's snow still around. LOL And we haven't gotten snow in 4 weeks!

Here's BTV forecast highs for tomorrow.

I can't believe you still have big snow piles around...that's impressive!!

We got about another 4-6" between yesterday and today...still coming down this morning. Quite a beautiful morning out there.

Oh, happy spring!

1" of snow overnight (Weds. night/Thurs. morning)-it was decorative, briefly, then melted.
39 degrees out this afternoon (Fri.) in Brattleboro, wind seems to be dying down at last.
Dirt & gravel driveway is "spongy" (muddy, soggy, and/or springy/bouncy) when you walk on it, feels strange.

Sign of changing seasons: a few days ago I saw a housefly in my apt.-first one of the year, for sure.
It was alive, but it was also not that sharp-maybe it was sleepy & cold-so I was able to easily scoop it up and drop it out the window.
Couldn't pull that trick off with your typical awake & alert (summertime) housefly.

I'll be happy with warmer temps & more snow, since I enjoy both phenomena-I'll be pleased either way.

Snow has been steadily falling daily on the mountains and isn't melting. I'm hearing a huge NorEaster is anticipated for Wednesday.

Pretty strong NorEaster being shown on the models but the heaviest snows would stay near the coast. The MA capes would get hammered. We'll see. It's going to get really cold again after tomorrow.

Nice pics! Yeah, usually mowing green grass end of March. At least the Tulips are coming out now. LOL It hasn't snowed over 2 inches since Feb 13th (5 weeks ago)

I saw my first robin of the season today. It was on top at least a foot of snow.
