No problem.

3pm Wind Chills. Feels like Teens below zero now in Northern VT. I had a snow squall here before. Winds are kicking to 30mph! Mid West wind Chills are nuts!

This map is with my GREarth Software. Here's a map of wind chills across the US. Scroll down to bottom. Mesonet | Air Temperature

Discussion. Temps not falling as fast as projected. Is the Arctic front slower? Does that mean we will have it around a bit longer?

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BURLINGTON VT
254 PM EST WED JAN 7 2015

.SYNOPSIS...
AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS VERMONT THIS AFTERNOON
AND BRING SOME SNOW SHOWERS AND BRIEF HEAVY SNOW SQUALLS. SOME OF
THE HEAVIER SNOW SQUALLS WILL BRIEFLY REDUCE VISIBILITY TO NEAR
ZERO...AND COULD PRODUCE 1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW. THIS ARCTIC COLD
FRONT WILL BRING DANGEROUSLY COLD WIND CHILLS TO THE NORTH COUNTRY
THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING. LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT
WILL RANGE FROM 10 TO 30 BELOW ZERO.

GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS DEVELOPING BEHIND FRONT...ISSUING
IN THE ARCTIC AIR. THE TEMPS NOT FALLING QUITE AS FAST AS
FORECASTED HOWEVER SO HAVE MADE A FEW ADJUSTMENTS TO REFLECT
LATEST OBSERVATIONS AND TRENDS TO SLOW THE ARRIVAL TIME OF THE
COLDER TEMPS JUST A BIT.

I'm headed down to NYC in a couple of hours so I'm going to miss the bulk of the really cold stuff.

I'm not sure how I feel about that to be honest lol.

lol. If it was everyday then there would be no guilt but since this seems like a quick hitter maybe you should of stayed. LOL

Current Wind Chills. -24F at BTV -31F Newport.. We all are feeling the chill in the East.

Check out the southeast wind chills and even light snow at the South Carolina coast.

Another good link to keep. Current OBS's from NWS regional roundup.

Surprised they didn't add the wind chills! Feels like -36 in Newport. -23 in Burlington

Default Snow & Ice Cover Maps

Found a cool site for reports. It's only through the cocorahs program so it's not widespread but you can click the report and see the location, ect. They are looking for volunteers.
