Was hoping for some good rain during the week but a clear weekend....guess I have to give up one of the two huh? lol
We are desperate for rain. Such an odd summer. Couldn't get dry in June, and now, we're parched.

Looking like lots and lots and lots of rain for the weekend. Many inches worth. Feel bad for all the leaf peepers coming up for a visit!

Yesterday was cruel punishment. What an absolutely gorgeous day. But I'm sure I'll be smiling when the first flakes start to fall!!

Yup. Didnt see what highs were in VT but hit mid 70s here. What was nice was that it was dry! Dewpoints in the 40s.

Speaking of 1st flakes.. did you guys see this? Shortest amount of days without snow falling at Caribou. I will have to check some stats for Burlington and Rutland.

We hit low 70s here, and it was quite glorious. I had to work but ditched early to get outside lol.

WOW. 138 days! I love snow but not sure I could handle that ha ha.

Good write up by Aaron. Short and Sweet.

"snow level to drop below many summits of the Green and White Mountains, such as Mt. Mansfield, Sugarbush, and Jay Peak. Into Saturday morning, snow level continues to drop to around 2,000ft."

There's going to be 2 maybe 3 chances for snow! The first as the trough of cold air pushes through. The second as the 850mb temps are already below freezing another short waves comes in with moisture at the mid levels.

Green and White Mountains have best chance of accumulating. Adirondacks might not be in a good position. Maine in very good position.
