Radar looking nice for New England. Clipper over PA right now. Don't see any deep returns so probably just light to moderate under the blues there. Temps in the Teens and 20s late morning..

Been snowing here all morning, but now it looks like it might start accumulating.

There's nothing nice about this at all. My maples have leaves on them already and the buds have opened on a bunch of other trees and plants too. This cold snap after leafing out can cause some major stress for trees and cause their demise if they continue to be stressed later this year. Going back to winter after late spring conditions is just bad. The snow is just making a mess of the roads. There isn't enough to enjoy it in any way.

8 degrees here this morning. We didn't get any real accumulation (though Mansfield may have) but I agree with arctic and cloven!

These were the 2pm temps today April 5, 2016.

Those aren't clouds over NY/VT/MA/CT/RI. That's snow on the ground.

Impressive day across the region despite full sun. Normal is in the 50s across many areas.

Another look at the sexy snowpack Satellite image from today. Why couldn't that Clipper be 50 miles south more...or north for you guys. That strip would be as well.

At least your growing season hasn't started there... I think "Ouch" is probably the word of the day because its been all night for some folks below freezing in the Mid Atlantic.
Couple of 6am temp maps this morning & surface map.

30s down to SC, 20s in NC, teens in New England but there are local teens in NJ, PA, NY

We are back to February.

Any idea how long this will last? I see it warming up a bit over the next week, but man, those 50s+ were feeling nice for awhile lol!

Whoops, sorry, didn't see this till now. Looks like another front came through and back to the freezer this weekend. 2 weekends in a row. While I don't see a hot pattern anytime soon, these cold blasts wont be as harsh after this weekend.
