Didn't Rutland have fireworks planned for the Fourth when the storms came along last night? We were going to go there but the clouds looked, uh, menancing.

Refreshing air coming. Mornings should be in the 40s thanks to a cold front and trough digging down.

Must feel nice up there this July morning. Mostly below normal everywhere. Still 60s here by the coast.

High pressure over us should dry up any precip but expect some sprinkles and P. CLoudy skies today. Warming up again this weekend.

We never saw 52 degrees here. We were 15 degrees warmer in Colchester.

Am enjoying Mother Nature's A/C for sleeping, refreshing.
Could use some rain, we will probably get some today as I will be running errands this afternoon.

How is the rain situation up there anyway? We were up last month and seemed dry considering how much rain came in spring...

Very little rain in the past week. We have had to water the gardens once to twice per day.

Same down here, I had just drizzle once thats it for July.

With the NAO continuing to be negative troughs will be more common in NorthEast. GFS shows a strong cold front coming through next week where temps will dip to upper 40s Thursday and Friday nights for Burlington and vicinity.. Lucky you. lol
