Snowfall total report maps.

Close up of the reports. I see a couple of locations with 5"+.

It's so nice we have people living in many areas and reporting what they see. I hope you all can do the same. Just ask if you're not sure how or where to report your snowfall totals.

Call me geeky but I'm having fun reading the comments from Observers in Vermont and New Hampshire from yesterday morning. It's for 7am Saturday to 7am Sunday . Cool stuff.

My only report is that there is nothing to report, from *my* location...just checking in
Saw a bunch of these graphics (charts & pics) on FB and was surprised (bc. nothing noteworthy happened to me here)-
the climate/weather is so variable between one end of the state & the other (not to mention, the impact of elevation).
It rained a lot, there were high winds & power outages, apparently incl. Brattleboro (thank goodness, I was spared that)-however, no snow yet.

Interesting. I had to check on the map for curiosity and it makes sense. You're on the East side of the big mountains so you're protected from the cold and snow a lot of time. And given the time of year it doesn't surprise me all you had was rain. Also not sure your elevation which for sure played a role too because it was below freezing above 2500'. So even in your county snowflakes were flying above 1500'.

4.6" fell not far west from you at higher elevation in Bennington County.

Vermont is very interesting in that sense.

We've had snow showers all morning today, but no major accumulation down here...sure the mountain picked up a bit more.
