I can vouch for this. I had outdoor activities on Thursday and Friday. I have never seen such swarms, nor had so many bites, in my life.

Mosquitoes biting here, there and everywhere? Pray for a hard frost

I agree. The mosquitoes are horrible right now. I think with the combined rain and warmer than typical weather, the mosquitoes are having a field day.

They're still practicing birth control here and we had a frost last week so there aren't many. But right now we have more than at any point during summer. And the few that are around seem to be making up for lost time.

The best weather Vermont's had in a long time!

I may now be able to stand outside of the Circle-K without a mosquito trying to bite me!

I ran into black flies yesterday afternoon in the NEK. My car was covered in them.

Mosquitoes are utterly still out! Saw a good sized one today when raking at a property on Summer Street.
