Pre-teen kids, never seen snow and certainly have never had any snowboard/ski experiences. Which resort would be ideal? I'm a little concerned if they hate the snow experience that I might need a plan B!

All the ski hills that I've been to have a beginner's slope with qualified instructors standing by, so choose about any one you like. Where are you coming from City Guy and when do you plan to visit? Presently, some of the ski areas are open offering just a smattering of trails, but it's still early. If your kids have even a hint of athleticism they'll be pretty quick to catch on. Weekends are going to be the busiest times. Hope you have a great time!

KidsRule Mountain Camps

Bromley received very high ratings in Ski magazine for it's kids programs. Also, with the sun on it, it is warmer -- don't know where the children who haven't seen snow are from, but if they're anything like my Floridian niece and nephews, they won't be as cold tolerant, despite layers and good gear.
