Hi,
Can someone recommend a clean and reputable piercing or tattoo studio. Nothing in the mall please.

Thanks!

I got a nice piercing at Art For Life in Brattleboro.

Are you willing to travel a bit for the best tattoo artists? I get inked at Sanctuary Tattoo in Portland, Maine. They are artists first and happen to work in the ink-and-flesh medium.

Here's some of my art, Teazer & Bailey collages by Chris Dingwell of Sanctuary Tattoo:

I take it you like cats? I love them too but hubby is allergic so we can't have one. Maybe I should get a tattoo of one, hehe.

How far is Brattleboro from exit 10/Waterbury? I'm still undecided about getting a tattoo but I do want to get my ear pierced (upper cartilege). I'm going to look in the 7 Days newspaper and see if they have anything in Burlington.

LOL!! I hate them, but I figure that having them tattooed on me, named on my car license plate, and filling my home (that's real-live rescued cats) is good desensitization therapy. ;-)

My sympathies! Cat allergies are tough. I know some real cat lovers who just can't be around them. I do recommend a tattoo or few . . . Say, have you thought about volunteering at an animal rescue or shelter? Here's a neat place in Huntington.

About 2 hours.

I'm hoping that any licensed piercing/tattoo studio in Burlington could do an upper-cartilage ear piercing competently. Here are some listings. If it were me, I'd look into the first 3 and ignore the last 2.

Oh and yes I have thought about volunteering at animal shelter but my husbands work schedule is to crazy right now and he works some weekends. Maybe in a few months when things settle down at his work. I think it would fun!

Yankee Tattoo is outstanding. I've had ink done by both Jim and Eric and am very happy with the results.

A friend of mine just told me that her very nice ink was done at Yankee Tattoo. She also hears great things about them from others, which is why she went there.

Awesome. I will have to drop by sometime and check out their work when I'm doing some shopping in Burlington.

I had some work done at Artistic Ink. They have two locations. Montpelier and Winooski. The artist that did my work was Lyla(?sp). Her work is increadible. My tattoo on my arm looks like a photograph. If you go there look at her portfolio. I know she works out of both locations. She is the only person that I will let tattoo me in the state of Vermont.
