I was thinking the same thing about snow. I know the whole "be careful what you wish for" but at least a few feet could get the snowmobile and ski seasons off to a good start for the local businesses.

I have always found this site more comprehensive as it includes most utility companies not just GMP since many people have local utilities etc.

Pretty much a non-event here in Mendon. Suns out occasionally today.

Some good sized trees down on some backroads in Shrewsbury that were lots of fun to get out of the way to do a little hunting, but overall, nothing that serious. Nothing like Irene. We dodged a bullet with this storm.

I think the strongest wind gusts hit the NEK, around Lyndonville. I wonder how it is up there?

Thanks for that link-I'd forgotten about it, so this time I bookmarked it (and will have it at the ready, for next time).

I'm pleasantly surprised that the power did not go out (for me).
Few photos (I didn't take them) from around Brattleboro of what damage was done (which was less than had been feared)-

We're fine in Lyndonville. Nothing major.....power flickered a little. Some limbs and trees down, nothing that can't be fixed.
