We had the same up in Colchester. The snow was coming down the sun was out and there were hardly any clouds.

Sigh. So jealous. I finally put the heat on this morning here - it dropped to 40 here in NYC, a bit cooler in the burbs.

I'm so jealous! It's going to be in the mid to upper 70's all week here. We actually only have 2 seasons - summer and not-so-summer

You know how some people get SAD when they're in the dark winter? I think I would have that if I lived down south!!!
There is nothing I hate more than no seasons...I guess it's nice for some things - gardening, bbqs, etc...but I think I'd be suicidal.

Oh - and congrats to the Sox fans. I actually cannot stand baseball, but you guys deserve it.

I will, however, be rooting for the Patriots next week, in what is surely going to be an amazing game.

tkln....you would have had it! My husband lived in SC for 10 years and HATED it because there was NO weather as he said. He hates heat and said he hated it there because it was SUNNY and blue sky way too often. BOooring!

We finally have Fall weather here in PA...FINALLY. My daughters have been wearing shorts consistently since school started until this past Friday.

Let it snow!!

We enjoy the seasons, but the same can happen here(getting tired of the weather). Winter can last so long that you get sick of winter. It's not like the tri-state area around New York. It gets much colder and lasts close to two months longer.

The lack of change is one of the reasons I took Denver off my list...our friends moved there and she said the sun shines almost every day...they loved it, I think I would go insane. Obviously Denver does have a winter, but I need my rain and cloudy days.

68vette- I do agree, Vermont is very different than down here...winter is much longer...luckily I do love snow and outside sports, so that should help...though I imagine by the end of winter, even the most adamant snow lovers are excited about spring. Or are they mostly excited about spring skiing???
