Ideas for Small "Vermont" Gifts
My husband and I are taking some family members for a long weekend (in late Jan.)at one of the ski resorts in VT, and I'm trying to figure out a way to present this gift. I'm hoping you all have some ideas for Vermont-specific items I could wrap up to present their gift. Ideas?
Thanks so much in advance.

Which resort are you taking them to?
Maybe send away for the ski Vermont magazine/brochure and wrap that up? Also, Cabot Cheese, small "nips" of Maple Syrup, Magic Hat beer, etc.

Most of the resorts have gift items connected to the resort. You can call them for suggestions. Popular gifts are t-shirts, baseball caps, posters, shot glasses, etc with the resorts name/logo. Pins are also very popular. Also stuff made/produced in the area like cheese, wine(Vermont now has 3 grape wineries and several fruit wineries), micro-beer, etc. The local chamber would have some suggestions as well.

I want to lead up into clues, with several people opening, so I can't be too obvious.

Now that's funny, but I don't know how well they'd be received.

Try Dakin Farm or Harrington Brothers. These are pretty well known Vermont food gift folks. Also check out Cabot and Maple Grove....not sure if they have online sales though!

Also...check out Grafton Cheese Co. Grafton is actually fairly close to Stratton. So...if they like the cheese, you can go visit the "factory".
