I will do some shameless promotion for this place--we went today and it was awesome. The outside looks a bit 'old' and the inside is sort of like a small cafeteria with interesting wooden benches and tables but the food is good, the portions generous, the prices very reasonable and...the maple syrup...REAL!!! AND YUMMY!!!
They have the obligatory 'gift shop' with a variety of Vermont type items. It's a definitely 'go for it' if you guys are in the Royalton, VT area. |

Told ya!
Did you have the pancakes? I bet my nephew, who is in high school and on the football team, that he couldn't eat 3 of them. He told me he could eat six. So, I bought six, and he managed to get through 2 1/2. LOL Great place though. |

Yes, thanks for the recommendation, Lily. My husband said he was sort of hesitant when we drove up but I said, "I trust my people on City-data!" You guys have been awesome...I appreciate all the good advice.
