Coming down pretty good this morning (Mon, 12,/3). I have a good 6"+ at my house in Windsor, as of 7:30am, I-91 between Windsor & WRJ is pretty ugly. With most schools closed it looks like they plow trucks are waiting until the fall slows a bit. Not much trouble in my Accord with snow tires though.

When I went to bed at 1:30 this a.m. it hadn't started to snow. Now we have about 6 inches here in N.Troy. It always baffled me that those little tiny snow flakes can add up faster than the big fluffy ones. And I had plenty of time to ponder that mystery while shoveling my driveway. Still no answers though.

I am impressed how many times plows have been up and down this road already (10:30 am). On LI you are lucky if you see one do it once or twice, even on a main road. They complain the 'budget' (skimmed off the top by 'administrators) has been blown after 2 storms and they don't even bother with the side roads.
Fortunately I don't have to go out in it. My husband just took our son to the park to check out the snow.

We are getting 30 cm of snow in Montreal. I have drifts covering half the windows already.
