Agreed. It was an uphill battle and I'm glad it is now law...hopefully the other states with the laws on the verge will follow suit. It would be nice if the feds did something about it, but well...

At least it will let you know what your eating as far as GMO foods. Hope the other states follow suit on this one.

Connecticut passed a bill a year or 2 ago which would require all gmo foods to be labeled. It wont go into effect until 5 surrounding states pass aimilar legislation. So 1 down, 4 to go! Thank you again Vermonters for your independent streak and continuous efforts to do what is right.

I wonder if Connecticut will help with what is sure to be a costly lawsuit against a state that's broke..but we all feel good now.
