Default Vermont, the beautiful!

I'm back from a splendid vacation in Vermont. A beautiful state full of nice people. I'm posting two of my favorite pics. First is Lake Champlain from the Burlington Dock. Second is Lake Willoughby in the northeast kingdom. As you can see the weather was overcast, misty, or rainy--still lovely.

Glad you enjoyed your vacation. Shrouded in something - that's how we often get to view our own state. I live fairly close to Willoughby and I've seen it looking that way quite a few times. Your pictures are proof positive that one doesn't need to have a clear blue sky to get good results.

Fred's Mom - We're only a stone's throw away from each other. I enjoyed your photos. Love your hunting dog, too!

I went up Jay Peak from the south side on the Long Trail this a.m. In spite of recent rains, the trail conditions were just about perfect all the way up. When I set out, the top 500 ft. were in clouds but the forecast called for improving weather and they were just clearing the summit when I arrived.

Great pictures. I enjoy foliage in overcast and misty weather as much as sunny weather.
