I stumbled across this impressive water fall and some real interesting rock formations while following a little mountain stream. There are several small caves of sort (one large enough to get into for a shelter) and holes all over, and big rocks that look like they should fall but aren't.

There's just enough snow in just the right places to make climbing down and up those rocks slippery...lol

yesterday I "hiked" up the mad river glen snowshoe trail on my skis... PAINFUL! Took me 2 hours to go to the top of the Sunnyside lift.

i got to the top after patrol had started their sweep - oops! they are not too thrilled to find someone coming down behind them.

Today I hiked to the top of starks nest with my ski boots and some microspikes, also painful but not as bad. Took about 1.5 hours. Started earlier so i had plenty of time to get to the top on time.

Icy icy conditions today. yesterday were a bit better.
