I had an "OW WOW" moment--regarding nature..
I finally got to see the amazing sky last night. I was up later than usual and it was an incredibly clear night (for a change!). I happened to look up in my bedroom (we have a skylight) and saw the most fantastic view...stars--so close I could touch them (okay...) just an incredible site.
We don't have much light pollution here and I was caught unaware of the beauty of the night sky and just sort of stared out the windows for a few minutes.
It was a Vermont--OH WOW! moment..

Cool!
Even right in Burlington I often lie on my back in the park next to my house and watch the stars, meteors, moon and so forth. Or I walk down to the lake and find a spot on the bikepath to watch the sky from. A couple of Summers ago I floated on my back in the lake on a warm Summer night and watched a meteor shower. Bliss...

I think I've heard cats say "OW WOW". But never "OH WOW", as in "OH WOW my favorite treat!".

LOL! I had the same thought. When I saw "Ow wow" and "Vermont" in the same sentence, I thought someone had slipped and fallen on ice. Been there, done that! OW-WOW!
My cats definitely say "Ow-wow," usually when they're playing together roughly or just before they barf.
See? We got so much out of this thread, from the gorgeous vistas and lush natural experiences Vermont is blessed with, to the risks of living here, to the behavior of our feline friends.

Yup. And one of the nice things about the Vermont forum is that posters rarely get catty.
