I'm not saying it's not controversial, to give people a place to do something they should not do. But that's our gut reaction. I'm a numbers person and when you look at the numbers and the facts they all support it. You give them a safe place, you reduce the harm they cause themselves and others, you gain their trust and maybe down the line you can get them into rehab. Diseases should be treated as diseases. Not criminal offences. Not by making everything illegal cause the prison system only creates more criminals. People go in for committing petty crimes they should have never gone in for in the first place, and come out criminals.

And back to this FEDS thing - I think the raids are ridiculous. If someone is doing something that is legal in their sate - the FEDS should stay out. If you want everyone and everything to be the same - why have state borders to start with? Because not everyone and not every state is the same. People are entitled to have the rules they want where they live.
