Default Windsor Area Info

Hello everyone. My husband and I are still contimplating the move to Vermont. Ever since our visit in August we can't get it "Vermont" out of our heads. He is still looking into Corrections work. We have checked out Rutland and Springfield areas. I am wondering if there is anyone out there that can give me some insight to the Windsor area. We have three boys 10, 9 & 6 so schools are important to us as well. Shopping areas? VT and NH. We are currently in rural PA so culture shock really isn't an issue if I can find a decent grocery store within 15 minutes. Thanks for your input!

Their have been headlines in the news lately about the Vermont Corrections Dept's need to reduce their budget. To be honest haven't paid much attention to the details but when there is another article I'll post a link.

Post Correctional Info.

Check out this site...
http://www.doc.state.vt.us/

According to the info listed, the VDOCS is the largest growing state department. They have a fair pay step also.
